Honolulu Engagement Photographer

Aloha, I am a Honolulu, Hawaii wedding and engagement photographer. This gallery of engagement photography shows a representation of the many various types of engagement sessions that I have had the great pleasure of photographing. You will see engagement pictures all over the island of Oahu, Honolulu, Waikiki, Kualoa regional park, Ko'olina, Makua Beach, Kailua, North shore Hawaii and many more.

My favorite spot for engagement photos are Papailoa beach on the north shore of Oahu just outside the beautiful quint town of Haleiwa. It is also just a short distance from the very popular dole plantain. I always suggest my couples stop at dole for a pineapple ice cream on their way to the session. if ice cream is not your thing and you are more of a coffee addict like me then you definitely need to make a pit stop at Green world coffee. Once you engagement session is over you can head into the little town of Haleiwa and grab some dinner to celebrate. There are a few really great spots for dinner but my favorite would have to be The Beach house.

Kualoa regional park is another beautiful option for your photos. It is right across from Kualoa Ranch which offers various fun activities. If you are a big Jurassic park fan then this might be the spot for you. The mountains you see from the park are featured in the movies. I just love how stunning these green mountains look in photos. It adds a very dramatic effect to the pictures.

Another great option is Pounders beach as the local community calls it. On a map it might be better known as Laie beach park. I like Pounders better, the reason it is called so by the local community is because of the massive waves that crash against a spectacular rock wall. There is no place like this, you will have mountains, rocks and the ocean all in one place. I absolutely love this beach - just to be able to work in such a beautiful environment and take photos is an honor and blessing. Pounders beach is on the East side of the Island by the Polynesian cultural center.

I offer a locations guide to all my clients with samples of each spot. Send me a message if you would like more information.
